Many of my symbolist paintings incorporate archetypal imagery based on themes of duality, the Jungian concept of anima and animus, relationships, and the dynamics of persistent change. In these paintings, ideas are clothed in sensitive form, while the two fundamental modes of visual expression, image and symbol, merge as one inviting us to share with the artist in that search for the hidden truths that lie deep within us.
